SEND OUT YOUR DEMO

Once you create the demo you can send it out to look for an agent and to get jobs. If you don't have an agent, you can search online for casting calls and find casting companies in your local are to see if they have anything.

CREATE A WEBSITE

As a working professional, you need a website to tell people who you are. Reserve your own name as a domain and create (or hire someone to create) a website that showcases you as a voice actor. Include a biography about you and your experience, an audio file people can download of your demo, and any samples that you want to share with people. Make sure the site is optimized for keywords like "voice actor" or "hire a voice actor". If you need help with the keywords, you can outsource that too.

BUSINESS CARDS

You will also want to have a nice business card printed up. You will want to, at the very list, include your name, the fact that you are a voice actor, and how people can get in touch with you. If you have a website, you should also put your website URL on the card. Hand this out to everyone, even if they don't seem to care either way about what you do. They me know someone who is in need of a voice actor! You never know.

More and more people make their livings online - and a lot of these people need voice over work because they are creating informational products from the comfort of their own homes. Businesses, both local and nationwide, also use the internet to find voice talent for a lot of their smaller projects.
